(Poetry)
Raging ocean beneath the sky
Wave after wave pass me by
Nymphs wander, worn and pale;
A shining knight with silver sword
A haunted ferry none would board—
Pages torn off a fairy tale.
Raucous laughter floats around,
Starting at every sudden sound
My tadpole heart flutters wild;
Clouds bring forth drizzling rain
Pent up rage births biting pain—
Distant wails of a forlorn child.
Teardrops freeze the lake of fire;
A trail of light and my deep desires
Like aimless seagulls, lose their way.
Dreams rise up, and then just die
Fleeting feelings end in sighs—
Promises fade into forgotten days. (Poetry)
