The City in the Rain
Kolkata in the rain feels like a different city. Somehow, Kolkata finds a strange kind of peace. The grey sky makes the city look softer, almost like a memory. The yellow taxis shine a little brighter, College Street feels different, Park Street glows differently, and the old lanes of North Kolkata become even more beautiful.

Crowds and traffic slow down for a moment, umbrellas fill the streets, and the city feels a little calmer. Maybe that’s the beauty of a rainy day here — the city never really stops, it just moves a little differently.
