On a pleasant October morning in 2024, we discovered the cultural capital of Nepal, Bhaktapur. As we walked through the Bhaktapur Durbar Square, the main square of the city, we were mesmerized by the unique architectural showpieces, terracotta art and a conglomeration of stone art, metal art and exquisite wooden carvings. The ancient city used to be the capital city of Nepal Mandal till the 12th to the 15th century. Until the early 18th century, the ancestors protected the city as a sovereign state surrounding it with boundary walls and several city gates.

Everyone visiting Nepal do not miss this UNESCO World Heritage site for then you will miss out on soaking in the very heart of Nepal and its unique culture.
