I love my parents more than anyone else in the world. In fact, they are my world. I thank God each day to have blessed me with such great parents. To express my feeling of gratitude and love towards them, I decided to give them a special gift on their anniversary. A few months ago, I made a journal for my parents, which I started on August 7th, 2020 and completed it November 19th, 2020. On November 30th I gave it to my parents on their special occasion. I had put old photos of my parents. I had also added the memories that we all shared together as a family. Also, with the help of my grandparents and my sister I added the memories that my parents cherished together. I had expressed my day-to-day doings and the fun I had with them, along with pictures that I clicked secretly of them having fun with me. I love drawing and painting, so I even decided to draw out my feelings that I had about them on a day-to-day basis, whether it be happiness, delight, sadness, anger, fun or joy. After writing the journal, I went through it for my satisfaction, and it brought a big smile to my face. Later, I decorated the journal with candies and sweets. At the end, I wrote a small poem ending with Happy Anniversary! I excitedly waited for my parents’ reaction. When I presented it to them on their anniversary, they were very happy and were proud of me. My parents loved the journal and hugged me with tears in their eyes.
