Kshetramohan Goswami: Innovator of Modern Swaralipi
Khetramohan Goswami (1813-1893) was one of the first-generation musicians of Bishnupur, who trained under Ramshankar Bhattacharya (1761-1853), one of the “founders” of the Bishnupur gharana.

Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan was born exactly 120 years ago in Kasur (now in Pakistan) on 2nd April 1902. His father Ali Baksh and uncle Kale Khan were artists of the ancient Patiala gharana (somewhat looked upon by the maestros of Jaipur and Kirana gharanas).
