Every photographer is a traveller and an explorer, and so am I. In the month of May, 2023 my family and I visited the Lahaul and Spiti Valley. It is the land between Tibet and India, located in Himachal Pradesh. The best months to visit the Spiti are from May to June and from September to October.

Photo Story: Collared Falconet

The Spiti valley is rich in Tibetan culture and monasteries. While travelling through the Valley, we visited the Kee monastery, Nako Village, Tabo Monastery, Dhankar Village, Mud Village, the Chicham Bridge (said to be the  highest bridge in Asia), and finally the frozen Chandratal Lake.

The trip was really fascinating. Despite the temperature fallins to -40C, we did not face any major problems due to the climatic changes and high altitude.
