thespace.ink has collaborated with ‘Word Munchers’, a creative writing platform that trains and encourages kids and youngsters to hone their creative writing skills. thespace.ink will be publishing two short essays by students of ‘Word Munchers’ every Saturday.

The leaves have a snow coverlet over them for autumn is gone and winter is here. I love winter season the most as there is something whimsical in the weather. It teleports me to a different, chilly and windy world. 

I enjoy being on the swing on my terrace feeling the cool breeze and watching the foggy sky. This season my mother allows me to have hot chocolate because it keeps me warm. During the winter vacations I get to sleep late into the morning, snuggled up under the blanket. 

The best thing to do during winters is to get into my teepee tent, cuddle up and read a book. I really enjoy the winter snow, making snowmen and playing.  Winter becomes more fun and enjoyable because Christmas is part of this season. Dressing up in many layers of clothes and boots I enjoy the carnivals and open-air parties.  Flower shows are also an attraction of this season. 

 It is picturesque to see the beauty of colourful flowers and admire them.  I always look forward to winter and wish it be longer than the summer season. I am now on my terrace sitting under the foggy sky and writing why I love winters.
