(Snow)
Snow – How does it make me dizzy just by hearing the word? I do. We are people of the equatorial region. We live in hot and sweaty conditions. So, whenever I hear snow, I feel happy. I have been to my beloved state of Himachal Pradesh many times. Usually, I have gone between October and January just for the snow. Once, of course, I went for a trek in May. That too because I wanted to trek in the snow. I have brought some pictures of snow for you today.
There are many stories about this snow. Let me tell you one. I am trekking the Hampta Circuit. The third and fourth days were spent walking in the snow. Seeing snow for the first time in my life, and that too while trekking. It is a great joy. But due to lack of experience, I slipped and fell several times. Then the seniors showed me how to walk in the snow. That’s it, who else can get me after that?
Let me tell you another story. I went to Mashobra in January 2020. There was no snow in the entire Shimla area that week. My heart was pounding a little. Those who came last week got snow. I consider all these places to be nature’s will. So I got in the car. Then what happened, before the car reached Mashobra, I saw snow on both sides of the road. It turned out that this place is colder because it is higher than Shimla.

Last week’s snow also remained. And the day after night it snowed again. It was quite a joy. There was a hill at the end of the road. The car said it couldn’t go. So what? The resort where the booking was made sent a matador, whose wheels were chained. We finally reached it by riding that matador.
December 2020. I went on a trip to Himachal. There was no snow on the entire trip. Then I went to see Parashar Lake. There I saw snow on the field by the lake. A gentleman from the other group suddenly thought himself a hero. He was dancing on the snow and singing Bollywood songs, and he was going. I guess nature didn’t like such a fuss. Suddenly he slipped and fell. Luckily, he did not have much injury. Thank God!
Here are some pictures from Hampta Circuit Trek, Mashobra and Parashar Lake.
