Every year between April and June icebergs float down to Newfoundland from the arctic regions of Canada. Newfoundland is among those rare places outside the poles where icebergs are visible. Popularly referred to as ‘bergs’ the icebergs are photographers’ darlings owing to the stunning play of colours that can be witnessed during dawn and dusk. Bright and sunny days are not the best ones for taking photos of icebergs.
These photos were taken by Arnab Chaudhuri who is a resident of Canada. He travels a lot with his wife and loves to take photos of landscapes.
Originally from Serampore, Hooghly, Arnab moved to Canada after attending IIT Guwahati. He pursued hi PhD at the Queen's University and currently lives in the Newfoundland province. Arnab is a travel buff and a photography enthusiast.
