Chronicles are sagas contemplating on lost historical heritages. Hampi has been regarded as an epitome of love whereby Parvati pursued Shiva for marriage. The name had been derived from the old name of Tungabhadra River (Pampa) which too was stated to be another name for Parvati and thus the context.

The area comprises of the lost sites of Vijaynagar Kingdom which includes the famous Virupaksha Temple, constructed around 7th century. This region too has been declared as comprised of monkeyu2019s and thus termed as Kiskinda kingdom. The areas that are to be visited while traversing through the lanes and historical corridors are that of the Vitthala Temple which has an ornate structure.

The Dravidian pattern of architecture symbolises the peopleu2019s interest towards massive dimensions and cloistered enclosures keeping in mind the vimana also known as Shikhara or Gopuram. Amongst all center of attractions, the major ones to be visited are, Queenu2019s Bath, Elephant Stables, Lotus Palace, Hemakuta Hill Temple Complex, Lakshmi Narasimha Temple and Achyutraya Temple among others.
