Fatima wandered the familiar forest, searching for mushrooms after the torrential rain. She lost her way near a fennel patch. Suddenly, an owl screeched. Then, a thud. She woke up in a hospital bed, haunted by visions of a man with no hands or legs, collecting mushrooms in the patch.
