The grandeur and beauty of the mighty Himalayas is a great mystery that has befuddled mankind for thousands years. The Himalayan mountain range marks the northern borders of the Indian state and draws tourists from across the globe. Its myriad hues unfold in their unique grandeur in its various corners. The striking view of the sun rising on the Kanchenjunga visible from Darjeeling draws thousands to the mountain town all the year round. The summit of Sandakphu, the highest point in the Indian state of West Bengal offers a panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan range. From the Stok Kangri peak of Ladakh to the Panchachuli of the Kumaon range, to the blooming valleys of Kashmir, nature unfolds itself in a striking range of diversity.
