My quest, that day, was to find the museum in London dedicated to a very popular fictional character whose statue I had just admired in front of the station: Detective Sherlock Holmes.
This was just what I had come looking for – the dictionary in two volumes compiled by Dr. Samuel Johnson and his team on the third-floor attic of this very house.
