The marketplace was love at first sight for me. Being an avid foodie, a market which had splendorous food shops spread over more than two hundred outlets was a strong point of attraction for me.
Kulap had already told me about the extent of the popularity this legendary half-human, half-bird mythical creature enjoyed in Thai culture and architecture.
It was a cultural show that consisted of several segments and the one I was watching at that time of the laser interruption was a depiction of how Thailand and its culture has developed over time with influence from other nations, including China and India.
