Banff National Park set deep into the Canadian Rockies, is famous for its dense evergreen forests, glaciers and lakes. The glacial lakes inside the park have taken on a vibrant turquoise owing to the presence of glacial debris or rock flour in the water. The park is home to a variety of fauna like elk, mule deer, black bear, grizzly bear, mountain goats, bison, moose, etc.

Though Banff attracts tourists all the year round, the best time to visit is during the summer. One needs to fly to Calgary before driving down to the park.

Photos of the Banff National Park were captured by Arnab Chaudhuri, who is a travel buff and a photography enthusiast.
