The East-Indian state of West Bengal boasts an 158 km long coastline and gives its name to the Bay of Bengal. The coastline here is dotted with quaint villages and serene beaches. A few prominent tourist hotspots thrive on the tourism industry. However, majority of the coastal populace thrive on marine fishing.
