Reykjahlid is a small village in north Iceland. This village is situated in the shores of Lake Myvatn. Iceland is famous for its natural beauty and Myvatn is one of the best places of Iceland. This place is beautiful and peaceful too. Landscapes of craters, bubbling Mud pods, sulphur Springs, nature bath, Fumarole and so many things are here. Myvatn lake was created 2300 years ago by a large basaltic lava eruption. The surrounding landscapes of this lake is dominated by volcanic landforms. This area is home for birds specially for ducks.
Myvatn Nature Baths also very famous here. It’s a lagoon fed by natural hot Springs. Gas releasing fumaroles and bubbling Mud volcanoes are dangerously amazing. Iceland is a location for many Hollywood movies. The famous movie game of thrones filmed here inside Grjotagja Cave. It’s a small lava cave near Myvatn lake . It’s famous for geothermal hot Springs in his depth. This spring not allowed for bathing. People can reach by car to the Hotspring cave.
