In our school we celebrate Children’s Day a bit differently. We can watch movies on Netflix, go to the canteen and have pizza, candy floss and other snacks. We can also go to our enormous garden and play basketball, cricket and football all day. Our teachers always make a slideshow, sharing old photographs of when we were in lower classes. Along with that they also present us with a live performance by dancing and reciting poems for us, while sharing heartfelt thoughts too. Our teachers always make us feel special and happy on this day. We celebrate for two hours and then we go back home. At the end of the day, we always thank our teachers for making this day unique for us. Every year, we repay them by celebrating Teacher’s Day.
I do wonder what is in store for us this year, since everything has to be online. But I am sure whatever they have planned, will be great!
