In my opinion, you should have a New Year’s Resolution. Not everyone is perfect; they always need to improve at some point. God has blessed everybody with a gift, something they are good at, which makes them truly unique. However, people always have some things to improve upon or change. If you make New Year Resolutions, you can improve your horrible habits, become a better person, learn new things and discover hobbies. All this will lead to a better life, a new improved year. It results in the best accomplishments of one’s life.

But why wait for the New Year to make a resolution? Well, it is like a fresh start, a new beginning to change yourself greatly. If you want to change a bad habit, you can start now.

Taking a New Year’s resolution changed a bad habit of mine. I used to be very careless and was not disciplined or responsible. When I grew older, I saw my Grandmother; she is punctual and not at all clumsy, unlike me. I was very inspired by her, and made a resolution to try to become responsible, prudent, disciplined, wise and joyful like her. My grandmother has the time for every kind of work; she is a superwoman for my family and me. I am trying to be like her, I am proud of myself for doing so and so is my family (especially Grandmother).
If you make a New Year’s resolution, you will be surprised, because you will see how much of a difference it makes. Do your best at achieving your goals, and completing your New Year resolutions. You can improve the areas you are weak in, you will be able to find out your true potential, and how special you are.
