It was a frosty night. The moon was beaming in the sky and the clouds sailed like cotton wool around it. The stars illuminated the night sky and made the scene seem magical. It was 9pm and I sat by the window. As I was gazing out into the streets, I could see cars driving past and people walking. There was a medley of people returning from their shifts and partygoers leaving home early. The old building at the corner was looking ghostly with the moon casting its silvery light over it. I opened the window and the cool air and soothing beams rushed in and I began shivering. It was breath-taking. I looked at the foliage and it was eerie, the petals of the flowers were dancing to the tunes of the cool wind, the trees whispered in the breeze and the plants swayed from side to side. Looking at the tranquil environment, my stress was released, and I began breathing in the fresh air which made me calmer. I observed the bats gliding in the dark and dogs were barking at petrified cats. One by one, the lights of different buildings were being switched off as people decided to hit the sack. I was yawning and tired. Being exhausted, I decided to sleep at the window, looking out into the moonlit night.
