Some days ago my summer holidays began. But we couldn’t go out of the house since it was too dangerous because of the covid-19 virus. We had to stay indoors no matter what. My summer holiday was all about playing with my sister and playing games with my family. My cousins live in the same building so sometimes I go to their house and play with them.
I play lock and key, hide and seek and over the monkey with my cousins. During the holidays I also learnt to cook two things, biscuit pizza and Maggi. My mother taught me how to cook these. The games that I play with my family are housie, ouch, blindfold hiding, snakes and ladders, ludo and mikado. Sometimes I watch a movie with my parents. I have taught my little sister how to colour and draw. ‘Laugh before you hiccup’ is also one of our favourite games. I got a smart scooter for my birthday earlier so sometimes I took it to the terrace to ride it. I got blo pens for my birthday so sometimes I play with them or use them to make cards. At times, I open my art book and start drawing and colouring for fun. I listened to songs and danced with my little two year old sister. I try to keep myself as busy as possible.
I learnt to be busy when it is important but don’t be busy when it is not necessary. This is how I spent my summer vacation during the pandemic.
